On Waiting.
So, I'm waiting for a phone call. Just a guy I talk to at night so we can off load about the day. I can tell you, after today I don't really feel like waiting. I closed the store last night, and then I re-opened it this morning, so in the last OHHH 48 hours I've gotten maybe 5 hours of sleep. My mom, who was also going to work this morning made me promise never to sign up for that again (work until 11:30 and then be back at 4:00) I was sad too because I had to miss my first coffee house training day, and then because it was crappy weather out I canceled a massage appointment (I felt guilty scheduling because I was missing the coffee house training, which is far more important) so I shoveled the drive-way instead. This was at about 12:30. And then... OH my favorite part. here goes. I got to curl up and go to sleep from about 1:30 to 4:30, and my cat forgave me for waking him up so early (he sleeps in my bed with me) so he curled up with me too. I'm still waiting, but I think it's about time to call Gus (the cat) to his proper place at my feet (curled up in the opposite corner from my head). And perhaps, after devos and my head strikes the pillow I will sleep soundly until Nico and the Velvet Underground wake me with their subtle musings on the day we call... Sunday Morning.
~~Peace readers of this dribble.

Do you have the Velvet Underground programmed into your alarm clock? If you do, that is the strangest thing I have heard all day... I always loved "Venus In Furs" back in the days of yor, til I recently actually heard the lyrics for the first time...creepy.
I use my computer as an alarm, and you can set it to pretty much any music you have programmed on there... it rocks. I love sunday morning just because it's convenient on sundays to have someone sing the day to me... :D
neato. Do I have to flag a nerd/techy alert here?
yes probably
